Arrived in Minsk yesterday evening with a mere 1000 Stg in my pocket, today I'm a true millionaire having changed my sterling to Belarus rubbles. Received 14.7 million !!! All notes, there are no coins in Belarus currency.The largest denomination is 200,000 so I have 70 plus notes, rather a bulky amount to carry in ones wallet.

Still, Im off to a supermarket to buy some wine so there's a few million gone !!!

Wines are mostly from Moldova or Georgia, under rated but excellent reds and whiles, Merlot type mostly.

Imported European wines cost considerably more than the average cost of Moldova or Georgia wines which is about 35,000
RYB , about £2.50.

Quails eggs, one of my favourite foods, good for diabetics and low ion cholesterol cost about a pound for 20.

I will have a great time spending my ..millions :lol:

At the moment 1million zim dollars is just under 2000 euro.

Last week, walking down our local High Street, got an urge for a pint as one does, so went into our local.

£GB 3 and frigging 85p for a pint...!!! :evil:
