Lordo, the charade is over. Turkey has no interest in a BBF or allowing you autonomy in a federal state, or to run your own affairs. You should pay more attention to your Lords and Masters. They have decided your fate and it's not going to be pretty.

You really are a prat sometimes, Viewpoint. Don't you ever read the Turkish Cypriot Press? Why do we have to be the ones who do all the work for you?

VP, what makes you think that Turkey is interested in a federal solution in Cyprus? It's clear from the article by Turkish Cypriot journalist Niyazi Kızılyürek, which I have posted elsewhere on this forum, that Turkey has no intention of allowing Cyprus to unite under a federal solution that GCs are likely to accept.

It's only interested in a two-state solution which leaves the north and the TCs under permanent Turkish military rule.

This is not just the GCs saying this but your own journalists.

Then it will no problem for you to post the link so that we can analyze exactly what he saying. Do you actually understand that we do not have to agree with your demands thats why compromise is in order, or are you intend on continuing with same mindset of trying to force your demands on us....if thst the case then 50 years have taught you nothing.

Try and understand there can be no solution and no compromise if the Turkish strategy is not to make compromises in order to collapse the talks and push for a two-state solution. Everyone knows this is Turkey's game. Are you really so naive to think otherwise?

Here is the link you are looking for:
