You missed this YFred, "Lastly he said that there must be a willingness to forget the past and element of forgiveness"
You people are determined to punish the Greek Cypriots for what happened in the past by insisting on keeping most of your conquered lands, each time the GCs refuse to "play ball" with you you threaten to return less territory. If there was one ounce of forgiveness in you you would have allowed 40,000 Cypriots to return home to Varosha but you prefer to punish them. In simple terms, for your simple mind, you want too much of the island, don't expect the Greek Cypriots to rubber stamp your greedy aspirations.

i have now read some of yfreds posts and i am honoured to be call yfred.

now when it comes to punishment, nothing of the kind. tcs want 27% under bbf so it is viable. assuming that we have 18% add to that 8% government land which makes it 26%. You then add 1% of the land being returned by the britts which 3% and gostakis becomes your uncle. you really are incredible stupid not to see the wood from the trees and fall prey to the fanatic like mavrokristostomos. and we are letting you have maras even though it was stolen by the brits and given to you quite what for i will never know.

Stop making things up, according to official figures in 1964 TCs owned 12.37% of the land in Cyprus. When you add your "share" of public land (total 26.11%) you get about 18% which corresponds to your population. As for Varosha - go and talk to the Brits if they gave it away. Mind you, one has to ask how it became Evkaf in the first place - stolen at the point of a sword no doubt.

Couldn’t be clearer:

President Anastasiades noted that it is time for Turkey to take bold steps towards a solution of the Cyprus problem and prove that she stands by her claims, by implementing the relevant UN resolutions.

The President of the Republic said that “it is inconceivable for them to expect me to enter into a dialogue without their acceptance of a single sovereignty, a single international personality and a single citizenship.”

either he enters the discussions under bbf to be a single republic or he allows the status quo to continue and lead to two states.

it aint rocket science.

when tcs voted 65% for bbf was that not single sovereignty, single international personality and single citizenship. if by the above he means the only thing he will negotiate is a unitary state ten he can come out and say so and do us all a favour.

What he's saying Lordo is, is that he wants one island, one people and one nation. All under the EU. You can't reverse what the RoC within the EU is, and the best way is just to make the whole island the same.

If you lot up there don't like it, well

You know where the exit door is!

To me, its very simple and clear. I hope this ideology works with an end to this nonsense. If you can't understand that clear message, well, you are pretending you can't.

It's out of your hands anyway, the rest of the world leaders wish it this way, and they will get it. Plans are already laid out. The players just allow the crumbs of the table to be leaked to the media, to keep the little people in suspense!
