Paskia is unique to some villages sorrounding Stroumbi the Great, its made at Easter along with Flaounes.
Basically its like a large meat pie the size of a cypriot bread, stuffed with mostly chicken pieces and some times pork.
It is falvoured with the same filling for flaounes and its absolutely delicious. I know that it is only made in Paphos villages and it is only at Easter time.

Lardi, another delicasy, if you are not a diabetic, also widely made in Paphos, although I know that in Belarus its very popular.

Talking about Belarus, Im off on Sunday for 5 days and Im just dying to put the... clapping theory into practice :lol: :lol:

Sometimes made with Kefalotiri cheese?

I like to cook a lot of Cypriot dishes. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, especially if you can cook his favourite dishes from home. ;)

No, not kefalotiri but the cheese used in making flaounes, I forget the name of this particular cheese which only appears in the market Easter time.

It appears that the name of the cheese is "Instead of flaouna cheese, kefalotyri or halloumi cheese may be used or any combination of the three"
