In what were passed off as "elections" in "trnc" a few weeks ago, what were then opposition parties opposed the building of this mosque/religious centre.

... and that included the chap that's currently masquerading as some kind of "prime-minister" of "trnc", a blows-in-the-wind character with little in the way of political conviction and who goes by the name of Yorgancioglu.

Why accuse him of having a bowl of jelly for a political back-bone...??? Well, his party's "election" promises not to build the mosque went out of the window very quickly as he looked very happy to take part in the ground-breaking ceremony for this unwanted and unnecessary religious centre.

Here he is, in the white shirt, with the usual Flag of the Republic of Turkey... (which figures) ...

Good news for you Vordo...

Soon, you'll be able to cover yourself from head to foot and holiday in an Islamic Hotel, being dubbed a "conservative hotel", that's to be built in "trnc".

..." Turkish Cypriot daily Halkin Sesi newspaper (30.09.13) reports that a conservative hotel specialized for women who cover or veil themselves due to their Islamic believes is going to be built in occupied Cyprus.

The news on the issue was published in the weekly Economist magazine in Turkey. According to the publication, the hotel which will have a 1.700-person bed capacity will be constructed by the Turkish Bulut Constructions firm which is known for undertaking various projects both in Turkey and in occupied Cyprus.

In statements to Economist magazine, Bulut Constructions chairman Temel Bult said that the project will cost around 250 million dollars and added that the hotel will be built in a 40 donum plot which “belongs” to the firm in occupied Agio Epiktitos village, in Keryneia. It is planned to be completed in two years, he said.
Bulut also said that a conservative hotel does not exists in Cyprus and claimed that there was a serious demand on the issue which their firm will meet, noting that there are great potentials in occupied Cyprus. ..."

So much for their interest for a solution, it just goes to show, that they are neither serious nor genuine, and then they have the audacity to say the GCs are preventing a solution.

We should not be giving them the time of day, we should be exerting all efforts to isolate further the occupied areas in the international community. I mean let's face it, we aren't getting back by talking are we??
