Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't last long.

By the end of the week all GD members will be released.

And then GD will reach 20+%... 8)

Well, GD no longer speak for the Greek People and are officially a criminal organization.

A larger than life Greek Patriot and a particularly very high ranking officer of the Greek Armed Forces who was Jewish and served Greece in WW2, probably lost his family to the NAZIs GD aspired to.

He along with the 70,000 Thessalonikan Greeks were more Greek than Kurupetos and GD could ever be!

Today Greece stands and remembers the 70,000 Greeks that were killed within NAZI Gas Chambers!

The charges won't stick. This is the quickest way to end accusations of GD playing a part in the sad and unfortunate murder of a fellow Greek by the idiot hoodlum.

You are right that when they are released, they will have more respectability because of the exoneration and then people will feel more inclined to sympathise with them even if they don't vote for GD.

I hope GD uses this as a time to reflect and improve their image - they can attract more bees with honey than with vinegar ...

Closer ties with ELAM are good too, as are ties with other anti-illegal-immigrant groups throughout the EU (but not ties with UKIP because they really are fascists that want to destroy the EU.)

the legal system in Greece isnt that easy, to just be released or for the charges not to stick....they are pressumed guilty when arrested and have to prove their innocence....it seems a bunch of dummies were put in charge of GD in order for the consequences that are unfolding

I'm sure they will prove their innocence; the charges sound far too trumped-up and like a knee-jerk reaction to pleasing outsiders. But, you are right that this is a time to appraise the leadership; some new blood is needed, with a friendlier face and less baggage. The ideas are right, but selling them to people has been done all wrong. One way or another, I hope this is a good thing for Greece and that the GD leadership are not too selfish to sacrifice themselves for a greater good ...

This is so funny!

Of course it is not as easy as our forum fascists would think.

The party has been declared a criminal organization which they will not be able to change regardlesd of whether the individuals charged successfully defend themselves or not!

All they need to do to make that stick is prove anything from money laundering to even tax evasion!

Oh boy! This is so exciting!

Maybe UKIP can assist Greece by introducing new EU legislation outlawing extremist groups like GD! :D

I think the Greek Samaras Government has had enough of GD and so have the Greek People!

All they need to do is link GD to the murder of Fyssas! Throw in some money laundering, disturbing the peace and some blackmailing and then it's bye bye!
