Let's face it.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Let's face it.

The best solution at the moment is a demilitarised Cyprus with an independent TRNC comprising 20% of Cyprus and Kyrenia as their capital. It should be also made constitutionally impossible for both states to be annexed to any 'momma' country. Once this has been established the British bases and the 'momma' countries can fuck off.

In the future, when the nazi mentalities of idiots like Kurupetos and his TC counterpart big0z disappear and Cypriotness is allowed to develop, we can talk about enhancing ties between the two independent states. Although, one tie that should be established from the get-go is that of Education.

The whole 'bizonal bicommunal federation with a single international identity' bullshit is made in the UK and USA and furnished to us as a way to prolong the existence of foreign bases and militaries. The very core of the idea is rotten.

The British ensured that Cyprus never becomes a new Crete and a lot of posters with the Kurupetos and GiG mentality just have to swallow this pill and go home. The reason why Brits and Turks can do whatever they want in our island at the moment is the whole notion of an unrecognised embargoed TRNC.

If TRNC had become legal with the right provisions back in the 80s things would have been much better for Cyprus now. The status quo hardly serves the GCs but we are just used to it and it gives us a feeling of pseudo-superiority/convenience because we are 'recognised' and they 'ain't'. In the meantime, part of our island is becoming Turkified.

Basically, you want to partition Cyprus, throw away whatever defenses you have and hope that reunification will be possible afterwards providing the belligerents dont come back.

Is this right?

betragully take five do not interfere when adults are posting.

reg dogtoragi. try 27% with lefkosa as joint capital and bbf with a single state with 2 constituent federal states.

i dont know if you are aware but 8% of government land belongs to the tcs. put that with 18% private land and 1% stolen efgaf land and we can be in business.

Your maths are a bit off because land in Cyprus doesn't equal government land. All the same, and apart from this, you are basically a supporter of Anastasiades.

Lordo tc land is like 13% according to the 1959 land registry with the 8 and 1% you mention your looking at 22% at best.basically a third less of the territory that turkey occupies.

Slow down.

Lets start with something easy before moving on to the more advanced "guru" like stuff. How about agreeing to undertake an official and accurate population census north of the green line first?
