Today they said in the radio that the police just discovered that the company had supplied them with the wrong cameras :lol:

So don't worry when you see those cameras in the street because they are not working!!!

I heard the same thing sotos.

Apparently the Cypriots were offered a new more modern camera to replace them, at no extra cost, and what do we Cypriots say?..............NO

And we want a solution for Cyprus.............. :cry:

So the cameras that the police was given were better than what they ordered? I thought that company cheated them and gave them their old stock or something...

lol camera's in cyprus? my god the film will run out in a day catching over 500 people, then the council will be too lazy and tight to replace them, and thats the end of that, waste of money.

There is no film in then. They are digital and the infraction pics are sent to a central computer and the documents are automatically printed out in a matter of minutes and sent off to the registered owners of the offending vehicles the same day.

From what I understand, the cameras that have been returned are an enhanced version which are better than the ones in the original contract!!!
