Yes, just to create the illusion of conflict and bad feeling before the talks resume.

By the way, the boat in question is a seismic surveyor which is incapable of drilling for anything... but the writer of the article won't let a fact like that stop him writing a loada old rubbish ... nor will the same fact stop the Mushrooms from believing it.

very simple.......where both sides agreed from the begining (1977)

That isn't what the link to the agreement says.

Yes, Bill, exactly

It is their intention and their behavior that says everything.

The b@st@rds just want to be a rogue state and blame everyone else and make it other peoples problem that they have become so.

... and as sure as eggs is eggs, what's being passed of as a survey vessel will appear in or near CY EEZ at about the same time as the results of the recent Aphrodite drilling are announced.

Can't we just see this coming ,,,?

Yes we can see it coming but can anyone see or care to 'speculate' on the potential consequences for Turkeys behavior? She just becomes more rogue and even more belligerent by the day and things are near tipping point around the eastern med.

The one thing I am sure about is that the "shit talks" will collapse before they even get started, albeit, even if they just going through the motions nothing will come of it.

If true, then the FINAL disaster is imminent. It will mean the reversal of all positive developments since 2004. I hope he is lying (as usual).

Ah yes....those positive developments since 2004.....

:? Erm...what positive developments?

1. Cyprus is saved from the Annan Plan.
2. Becomes full EU member.
3. EEZ-Hydrocarbons.
4. Military Alliance with Israel.
5. Energy connection between Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
6. Cyprus to become the energy hub for Europe (LNG terminal etc).

Welcome to planet Earth.

Ok, the fact that we voted no to the annan plan wasnt a good thing. That plan should never have been placed in front of us. Being a supporter of tpap at the time i still felt his deliberate negotiation (or lack of) so as to vote down this plan screwed up a good opportunity to solve this problem.

As for the rest, there is no military alliance with Israel and i suggest you quickly return to earth on this one. There is no energy connection between Greece, Cyprus and Israel and Cyprus is not an Energy hub for Europe.

Having been the one fighting with an old member of this forum way back when (bananiot) about the potential for gas when he would make fun of the entire process limiting it to Cypriot grandiose plans i can say you have the same issue but on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Wait for the confirmation drillings and stop having pipe dreams of military alliances and energy hubs just yet.
