So basically eroglu flew all the way to NY to meet with Gul which he could have taken a 30 plane ride from tymbou anyday and done the same thing?

Seriously, isn't this a little embarrassing to the tc's? Anastasiades met with 30-40 heads of states while there, addressed the UN General Assembly and flew to Washington for a bi lateral meeting with the US vice president...did someone advise ergolu that the differences wouldnt seem so great if he flew out to NY as well and hung around his hotel room till Gul can see him?

Its to create the illusion that Eroglu is as equally as important and as relevant as Stassi. Should Eroglu not have been in new york, the propaganda regime of the "TRNC" wouldn't have any new material to feed the mushrooms with.

Yes, pretty humiliating for the TCs. But going to New York to meet Gul must've given Eroglu the delusion of mattering. And for the TCs it's important to keep up their delusions. It's pretty sad and desperate really.
