Pres Nikos Writes to Bonky Moon

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Pres Nikos Writes to Bonky Moon

Postby bill cobbett » Sat Sep 21, 2013 1:31 am

Sigma writes of a letter sent by the President of the Republic to the Secretary General of the UN.

It's a lengthy letter which is reproduced at... http://www.sigmalive.com/news/politics/66181

The main points are...

Adequate preparations before the talks re-start to re-establish the basis of the talks.

The talks are not about establishing Two States or a Confederation.

To stop wasting time and effort on the mis-interpretation of the end-game by the Turkish side.

The Pres reiterates his proposals regarding Occupied Varosi.

The settlement will be based on the UN resolutions.

The settlement will respect the HLAs of 1977 and 1981.

The settlement will respect EU values and principles.

The settlement will respect everyone's "right of return".

There will be no external interference from "motherlands"

There will be no rights to external powers for military intervention.

The end-game is a federal state with single sovereignty, single identity and a single citizenship.

There will be no dead-lines.

There will be no arbitration from outside.

All very reasonable requests and what most GCs would want. Anything less would be selling our country down the shit hole without a paddle just to appease the Turks.

Nice one Mr President, hopefully you can prove wrong all those that doubted you.

Yes deffo file... very reasonable set of preparations.

... and we can read these "preparations" are Conditions for a re-start of the talks into this.

... and furthermore Pres A has recovered the high-ground in the past few months.

If you bother to read the full text of the letter, you'll see that Pres A does specifically refer to meeting all concerns.

You obviously haven't read the letter have you.!!!

As ever , easier for the Lazy VP to come up with lazy and baseless one-liners to reject a BBF.
