Are you advocating the use of "dirty bombs"?

In order for the usa to further their interests is to have their cake and eat it...the us will perpetuate the problem from here to eternity...the us interests do not include solving problems but keeping them alive...every year the Armenian genocide comes up...a lot of hot air, but keeps the Turks towing the line...turkey is an a ally, does the us care?... nope

Multi if you actually think the us will turn its back on turkey, which pays the nominal slave tax to the empire year after year in the immediate future in favour of Cyprus, unless it includes Israel in someway, either cut your intake of wine or better still give me your dealers number...

Today the us is not really doing anything new...they are very similar to what the ottoboys were practicing...not converting you get taxed...convert and save on tax... needless to say no warranty with this policy...

The US has done and will do what every other super power in history has done, LOOK AFTER ITS INTERESTS.
Perfectly logical, understandable and 100% correct. If only Cyprus as small nation would also do the same. LOOK AFTER OUR INTERESTS.
The scenario today has altered significantly following the coolong down of Israel-Tyrkey relations, the newly forged alliance between Israel, Cyprus and Greece, and the realization that Turkey is progressively and surely embarked upon islamazation of their nation. This is a golden opportunity for Cyprus to forge closer alliances with both the US and Israel.
Only a fool can not envisage the stupendous strategic and political as well as financial benefits that Cyprus can and will derive from such an association.

Franckly I dont give a toss about Americas foreign policy, I only care what is good for Cyprus and I'm convinced that closer ties are a prerequisite element in Cyprus's endeavours to kick the occupiers out and to regenarate our economy.

I was not born yesterday, neither have I just embarked on the political scene.
Years ago on this very forum I was one of the very few vociferous voices in support of closer ties with both Israel and the US.

If you care to do search " miltiades+Israel or miltiades+America you will find plenty of reference to numerous posts I made concerning our relations with these two very influential and powerful nations.

POSTED APRIL 13 2006
mills chapman I'm not American but I support America , not in all of its actions especially foreign policy , because I believe that if America was not the superpower that it is , the alternative ie .Russia , China would have been not as tolerant as America is to day. The only nation that takes its President to court and removes him from office by the legal means that the constitution provides. I believe that America saved Europe from the Nazis and then introduced the Marshall plan to rebuild Europe. I believe that following 9/11 America had a duty to act and punish those responsible. The Afghanistan invasion was correct in every sense of the word. I believe that George Bush Senior should have completed the job in Iraq during the first Iraq war. As far as the present situation in Iraq , it seems a long way from establishing a peaceful democracy given that the fanatics refuse to give their elected government a chance. America accepts criticism both from home and abroad , it has a delicate balance to maintain. The Greeks have for years now blamed every nasty episode of history on America.

If China was the super power today , and if 9/11 happened in Peking , the response would have been far far more severe that the American one. The horrific events of 9/11 changed America for ever . No super power throughout history ever tolerated such a blatant attack on its soil by an enemy sworn to the destruction of America. I believe also that America being the Superpower and the leader of the Western world has no choice to use all means at its disposal to protect our way of life , our freedom of choice and speech and our democratic processes acquired over many wars and much sacrifice. I want my grand children to grow up in a safe world and above all in a free world where the have the same rights that I enjoy today, the freedom to worship or not , the freedom to marry whoever you want the freedom to express and criticize your own government's actions , as indeed is happening in America now , without the fear of persecution. These are qualities that the enemies of America would remove by force if ever they were allowed to gain the upper hand.
Iran has stated as its main aim the annihilation of Israel . Iran will not be allowed to achieve its aim.
I support a Palestinian state , I support the rights of the dispossessed , but I support a peaceful process in achieving this. I most definitely do not condone the violence and indiscriminate killings that are happening right now.
Finally America , the land of opportunity , the land that made millions of peoples dreams come true. The land that values its constitution and is prepared to fight in order to protect it. Just imagine that the Soviet Union had not collapsed but had gained the upper hand and was today spreading the communist doctrine by force throughout the Universe.
I hope I have answered just a little of why I love America.

This becomes very boring. I am sure you have your own good reasons to be demonstrating your pro-Americanism so loudly and so often (expectation of a better assignment than the present one in Belarus perhaps?) but I think you are overdoing it a bit.

I take your comments on board, however this happens to be my signature, and will remain so.

You and Paphitis support America, because you are weak atheist midgets without values and ideals.

You could sum that midget up as an atheist pedophile who loves American bastourma!

The reason you can't see the "TRNC" flag there is because they're using it as a carpet.
