We need America as a friend and NOT as an enemy,For the sake of our nations security and the future with security for our new generation we MUST make a choice between those nations who share the anti American platform and those that can best serve our interest.

I don't give a shit if the Mafia is running America, my one only priority is the security of my grandchildren, your children, young and old, our sovereignty and the existence of Cyprus as a truly independent and FREE nation. One idiot driven by his sickening hatred of America and his distinctly obsessional love affair with the Al Queda ideology thinks otherwise.

I have stated many times in the past that for the interests of Cyprus I would go to bed with the devil.

This becomes very boring. I am sure you have your own good reasons to be demonstrating your pro-Americanism so loudly and so often (expectation of a better assignment than the present one in Belarus perhaps?) but I think you are overdoing it a bit.

Was in NY yesterday and stepped into the Helmsley Hotel for a drink with some colleagues where I saw the strangest sight right in front of me in the lobby,

An American, a Turkish and a Cypriot flag in that order next to each other in the middle of the lobby....I took a picture but I'm not sure how to post it here.

Any ideas whats going on there? No one in the reception or the bell desk seemed to know why those flags were there.

The American I'm sure is always there. The Cyprus and the Turkish maybe indicate V.I.P. guests visiting the USA officially?

Yeap! I just took a look in their site. Veeeery luxurious. Just the kind our politicians and the Turkish politicians would pick. And yes, the American flag seems to be there permanently.

Click on "Upload attachment" which is at the bottom of the message box, followed by "choose file" and finally "add the file".

What I have understood is that they always seem to standby their true friends and allies.

What is important is that the RoC becomes one of the entrusted 'true friends' and allies of the United States. Why?

because the RoC will never again be targeted or compromised as in the past, and they will hopefully get more involved in getting Turkey out of Cyprus.

I believe it is possible but the RoC needs to play its cards right.

You don’t seem to comprehend the severity of the global problem.

America is being run by CRIMINALS and the only business they do and understand is bribes, kickbacks, extortions, obstructions of justice, and general racketeering.

In essence it’s a worldwide protection racket of the petrodollar and they’ll go to any lengths for the furtherance of their illegal activities around the globe.

They have corrupted every single domestic and international institution that was borne out of the great wars thus ensuring that not a single international problem be solved, that most countries be in constant disarray, and that humanity be in perpetual strife or submit to their dominance.

Now if you really think that such an organization; a super Cosa Nostra on a global scale, will ever be willing to settle matters in a just way in the Middle East, or elsewhere including Cyprus you must be very naive.

I would say I am a realist rather than naive.

I think you are exaggerating just a little, but yes the US will not always do what is right. They are a superpower, have an agenda and are governed by interest.

What I do know is that they seem to do what is right for their friends. I also know, that the RoC can't afford to piss countries like these off and we could do with better political ties with the US. We basically need to use them, like many other countries use them for security.

We are not a country that can actually dictate terms to the US like China could instance.

You and Paphitis support America, because you are weak atheist midgets without values and ideals.

Talking about "atheists" - I call them realists - I hear that Jihadis are much in demand for training as suicide bombers. Ever thought of enlisting along with the other Plonker, you are both so full of crap, if the bomb doesnt kill them your shit will!
