I love the expression: ἐξ ἧς Ἀτρεὺς ἔβλαστεν. = Eβλάστησεν as we say in Cypriot (εβλάστησε in mainland Greek without the "n" at the end). Το βλαστάρι τα βλαστάρια (βλαστάρκα to us) meant both for plants as well as for the children (the offspring in english I think).

What is important is that the RoC becomes one of the entrusted 'true friends' and allies of the United States. Why?

because the RoC will never again be targeted or compromised as in the past, and they will hopefully get more involved in getting Turkey out of Cyprus.

I believe it is possible but the RoC needs to play its cards right.

What is important is that the RoC becomes one of the entrusted 'true friends' and allies of the United States. Why?

because the RoC will never again be targeted or compromised as in the past, and they will hopefully get more involved in getting Turkey out of Cyprus.
