A 'Παλαβος' is a 'Daredevil' and since 'Milti' has admitted to taking chances in 'Belarus', he has earned the title.

I think we should all be a little concerned about his welfare if his recent revelations are anything to go by, 'Love' (or infatuation) can often be the same as 'Dirt in the eye'.

Ridicule is a poor substitute for a 'White Stick' or a 'Guide Dog' to a 'Blind Man', or even one misguided by vulnerability.

We could ALL be wrong BUT, at least we should advise caution to our elderly associate even if we ARE so.

The warning signs are all there. Ordinarily I would be very concerned for our roving, wealthy widower, but since he has been doing a U-turn on his infatuation with the USA, helped by mingling with these Belorussians (does that translate as "stupid Russians? :? ) then maybe some good can come from these associations. :D

Back in London now, I must confess I find some of your comments rather ...plonkerish
Why on earth would I know the cost of ..women in Belarus ?.

Who thinks that I have made a U turn on my views of America?
No doubt someone not Cypriot but ...kalamarou. :D

An older man and a younger woman isn't the prerogative of MEGA STARS, or Film actors but also those emanating from Stroumbi the Great :D
?

You....kids need to learn from an older mature man, private lessons can be arranged at a mere cost of £10,000 plus VAT

You will be taught the secrets of becoming energetic, debonair, charming and charismatic, but first boys shave off those whiskers !!

Same applies to ,,,, girls

My dear friend, not wishing to sound disrespective, you will have to consume a great many loaves of...bread before you can assume the authority to offer me any advice. Having been round the block numerous times, you may have just taken a step or two, but not around yet, I think.
You are a nice guy but quite often you appear rather condescending !

My advice to you is to disregard those that appear concerned about your romantic forays despite them not meeting you and not knowing all the details.

If you are happy, then that is all that matters. Some boring people are just caught up in a daily mundane grind and live their lives on autopilot within their picket fences and for them that is their normality which they can't escape and they appear concerned because they want the rest of us in the same miserable daily grind. They are just unhappy and wish it on the rest of us.

I am very lucky to be married to a woman, who understands me well.

Enjoy yourself Milti. Go in hard and keep smiling.

Paphitis, I don't really take much notice of some of the comments made if not all.
At 67, a grandfather of 3, had a wife for 40 plus years, raised two kids. , what on earth should I be looking for at the twilight of my life, may an old age pensioner !!!!

No Sir, I have perhaps 15-20 years left, I will do as I PLEASE, in an honourable and orderly fashion and what a better way to do so than with a ....31 year old bombshell!!!

I think it would be quite fair for many of us to say that we have met 'A Miltiades' on several occasions as we have travelled the world, the details are invariably the same as we have come to learn from the man himself BUT, best of luck to him if our concerns are ill-founded, they are nonetheless genuine and certainly NOT sourced from any form of envy as far as 'I' am concerned.

My dear friend, let me make it abundantly clear that I find your comments offensive, in days gone by I would , I would have reacted in a totally different fashion, as I do not tolerate fools easily, especially ones that revert to stupid comments such as the ones you have made about "!palavos" I excuse you since I understand your character well, you are however out of order, an apology would be welcomed.

If my comments have in any way offended you, I most readily offer my sincere apologies and assure you that no offence (nor criticism) was intended.

However, considering the fact that you have presented your current circumstances in such a 'Cavalier' manner, one could surely be forgiven for feeling a little alarmed at the prospect that an 'Elder' among us (and I mention such with caution) might fall foul of those who would undoubtedly take advantage of such a one.

As to your comment that I appear to be 'Condescending', let me hasten to assure you that I have proven myself (among my peers and associates) to be THE most capable and efficient emissary precisely on account of my 'Natural Humility'.

Were you aware of my 'Vocation' and true characteristics, I fancy you would not be quite so harsh in your judgements.

My concerns were/are merely for your well-being, nothing more.

Footnote:- My reference to your being a 'Παλαβος' = 'Daredevil', was intended as more of a compliment than an insult, I think you may have 'Jumped the gun' once again my 'Old Friend'.
