Family life here is very similar to ours in Cyprus, a close nit family unity is very much a cultural thing.

Just be careful that YOU do not end up the only 'NIT' in amongst them all.

That's funny  ................... 'Knackers' and 'Knob' get the same treatment.

Just be careful and a little 'Streetwise', everything seems to be happening a little too fast for a man of your age and 'Lack of Experience', if you were MY father (or an acquaintance even) , I would be concerned.

No disrespect BUT, "There is no fool like an old fool"........ look after yourself.

As per usual, went out this morning for my daily dose of espresso, had on me 21 notes of varying denominations, combined total 6150 BR
THE Belarus currency must be the most ludicrous one in the entire world. There are no coins only notes starting from 10 RB to the maximum of 200,000.00, considering that there are 14000 to Stg one is a millionaire by far, 1 million BR = £71.00 ,

After ordering my coffee, the cost of which is 8500 Rubbles, approx. 60p or 65 cents, I reached for the wad of notes in my pocket,21 units in all, alas it was not enough , laid it out on the counter, reached for my phone and took a photo, so much paper money worth pittance.

Luckily for me an ATM was just outside so I took out ...3 million , about £210, back to the coffee shop, had my espresso, said my goodbyes to the staff who had gotten to know me by now, and back home to start packing for my trip to London tomorrow.

Next stop, well Cyprus of course, after a short spell in ....Greece
