How many times does Turkey have to tell you people to go fuck yourselves the EU perspective died for Turkey years ago and they dont give a shit about jumping to the tune like yourselves of the EU. So not such a great move after all. No Ercan no deal.

Excuse me. This has nothing to do with direct flights to Tymvou. Turkey has said it wants to open some of its EU accession chapters this Autumn and there were moves in the EU to discuss direct trade to the occupied areas. Both are now linked to the return of Varosha. What do you think this is about?

it is very easy really even a 2 year old child can understand it.
1. you will open up ercan and magusa - gain for tcs

1. you will get varosa back.
2. terkey will open all her ports to roc
3. terkey will open her fir to you
4. you will save millions in fuel alone.
5. 70 million market will open to you all the above gain for you.

and you are blind to it,

Then we will found the GrecoTurkish empire and attack and conquer the rest of Europe and the middle East with our Baklava cannons Feta-16 jets and Kadaif 300 rockets.

As though any real Cypriot would accept to be the lackey of Turkey.

When the Cyprus problem is solved they won't be thinking about the poor GCs and TCs, they'll be thinking about the future of Turkey and Israel in the region.

The powers of the world know what game they are playing, and its certainly not power to the people. They've divided you for years, and when the time is right, they will conquer you as well. When it happens it will be too late, because you've been so busy bickering amongst yourselves you won't have noticed both sides have been played a merry old dance. By then, you'll have nothing you asked for and everything you didn't ask for.

Time to change the tune folks, take the wool from over your eyes!

Hope BillC isn't getting any of the blame for that... it's people like that Scammy Bordo... who are out to maximise their Harem Money and keep (as they see it) the spoils of war.

His Master’s voice:

Nami says Varosha plan a non-starter as Cyprus talks loom

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE
Wednesday, 18 September, 2013

THE TURKISH CYPRIOT official responsible for foreign relations Ozdil Nami has said: “We do not have any intention or any official plan regarding the opening of the closed city Varosha or returning the city to its former owners”.

His comments come after the Cyprus government proposed the return of Varosha in the occupied part of Famagusta to its lawful inhabitants under UN control, in exchange for opening Famagusta port to international trade and unfreezing a number of chapters in Turkey’s EU accession negotiations.

“We do not have any intention or prepared any official plan regarding the opening of the closed city Varosha under the Turkish authority and returning of the city to its former owners," Nami said.........

“The Turkish side considers the negotiation process as reaching a comprehensive solution”, Nami continued as: “We think that working in a disciplined way and focusing on a comprehensive solution is necessary.......

.....British High Commissioner Matthew Kidd said yesterday that returning the fenced off part of Famagusta to its lawful inhabitants would be a “wonderful” thing.

“I think it is a big job, it is not something that you could do with a turn of a switch from one day to the next but leading towards this, again as quickly as can happen, will certainly have a remarkable effect on the climate of the negotiations more generally," Kidd said.

Last Thursday the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu confirmed that Varosha was not on the agenda of the Turkish side, and it could only be a part of the ultimate solution of the Cyprus dispute.

Government says its proposal on Famagusta not related to any Turkish Cypriot proposal

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE
Wednesday, 18 September, 2013

The government has submitted its proposal Famagusta for which it has informed international community members and EU officials and this proposal is not related to the proposal that has leaked to the Turkish media by Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglou, Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides has said.

Stylianides was invited to comment on reports in the Turkish media about a plan of the Turkish Cypriot side providing for the return of Greek Cypriot properties in Famagusta to their lawful citizens, the handing over of the local administration to Famagusta municipality and exercising of the security control by the so called police of the Turkish Cypriot puppet regime.

Stylianides stressed that the initiative of the Cyprus government on Famagusta “is most appropriate as is part of the new dynamic for the resumption of the dialogue” on the Cyprus problem.

Responding to a question, Stylianides said that the government would deal with this issue through diplomacy and away from the public scene as it believed that there is a long way ahead for this issue.

The Varosha/MARAS will ultimately become a Turkish military base if the Greek Cypriots continue to reject an Annan Plan style deal. the only way of them getting their hands on it is to accept a two state deal and the Turkey Cypriots will give it to them from the goodness of their hearts!
