Occupied Famagusta to be Returned This Year

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

... and according to the CY PIO review of the press in the Occupied Areas, the Ever Intransigent Eroglu of "trnc" continues to swim against the rising tide calling for the return of Occupied Ammochostos before the year's end.

Eroglu, as ever, has no intention of reaching a solution at this round of talks.

Unlike Izzet Izcan, chairman of the United Cyprus Party, who said yesterday ...

... " the return of the occupied fenced city of Varosha to its legal owners and the opening of the port of Famagusta for direct trade should be implemented simultaneously. In a written statement issued yesterday, Izcan noted that those who hide behind the comprehensive solution and reject the return of Varosha and the opening of the port of Famagusta, serve the existing status quo in Cyprus. ..."

Eroglu Has to Go.

... oh and again from the CY PIO review of the press in somewhere called "trnc"...

A curious body calling itself the " National Existence Council " joins with the Intransigent There'll Never be a Settlement Whilst He's In Charge Eroglu joins Eroglu in rejecting attempts to relieve the "isolations" by taking the Rejectionist Stance by saying...

... " the council expresses its “will and determination” to continue its struggle for preventing the “surrendering of Varosha to the Greek Cypriots”. ..."

"surendering" Varosi to its legal owners ... doesn't that just about sum up how the leading figures in "trnc" reject any progress...???

This scummy TMT body also repeats the ridiculously unhelpful and lying claim that Occupied Ammochostos is "evkaf"... and that's the huge extent of how far "trnc" will go to make a settlement impossible.

... and it gets worse when this body also says that the moves to return Varosi to legal owners are an attempt to...

..." steal Varosha from the Turkish Cypriots people... ”

This "national existence council" has to go... along with Eroglu.

Viewpoint I'm sorry to dissapoint you but this forum is for discussing the solution to the Cyprus problem and bringing in our own points of view and suggestions. We are not here to negotiate it. Neither me nor anyone else on this forum can cede or demand anything on anything.

Evidence of even more Intransigence against a settlement from "trnc" with news from a single source that the ridiculously entitled "national existence council" is to hold a "conference" in a couple of days time to organise against the return of Occupied Ammochostos at a venue called the Youth Centre of the TMT Fighters Association.

"national"

"TMT"

"Fighters"

Words that speak for themselves boys and girls and remind us that TMT Terrorists are alive and well and hold an awful lot of power and influence in the Thiefdom of "trnc" and are doing all they can to resist a settlement.

TMT Have To Go...!!!

UN's Downer has made over the proposals from the Republic regarding Varosi to the Intransigent Eroglu and Downer confirms the UN sees Occupied Famagusta is a separate matter outside the negotiations.

This is a statement, as reported by the CY PIO, made by Downer on the matter of Varosi yesterday...

... ' He noted that the UN sees issues such as Varosha separately from the negotiations adding that their duty is to encourage the comprehensive solution and help in reaching this solution... '
