The division has proven that there are far less serious incidents than when we lived together so disputing this is futile, the fact that you can be easily found out if you do anything wrong is a deterrant in itself. Now force us to mix and who knows what will happen you are no innocent and we would no doubt retaliate so the two stat or region call it what you will is vital in any future solution.
I asked for you examples of violent incidents since the border crossings opened and you can provide nothing other than cars being scratched and some anecdotal 'rudeness’. This despite the fact that the northern part of the island is under occupation and up to a third of the population in the free areas have been victims of ethnic cleansing.
You now say that this is because people would be 'caught' if they did anything wrong. Yes, VP. This is called obeying the 'law'.
People will ‘mix’ under a federal solution whether you like it or not. You cannot have 'laws' which prevent people from the same country from living and working together. That is called 'apartheid' and is universally unacceptable and outlawed under EU legislation.
