No, Viewpoint, you are going around in circles. Our interpretation of a BBF is one state made up of two regions under the EU acquis with political rights at the individual level. The protection of individual and minority rights of all citizens by the government of Cyprus under the EU acquis.

There is no desire or support for a confederation of two 'constituent states’. I hope that's clear. Now please stop trying to pretend we’re talking about the same thing. We're not. So stop wasting everyone’s time.

But we have established that we both want a BBF that in itself is a big step forward now we are trying to clarify how the country wil be run and what say each "region" would have in the federal government, how will the votes from each individual effect the overall results, how the mechanism work, how will it effect the balance between the two "regions" if one population overtakes the other or is purposefully injected to cause unfair advantages for one ethnic group? your blanket answer is just another way of saying we have the majority vote so we will do as we wish....it just another version of enosis which we stopped and will continue to stop so either you debate on an equal footing where both states are equal partners under a BBF or you can stay south of the BORDERforever.

You see how you start out saying we agree on a federal solution then you panic, work yourself up into a frenzy, then slip into talking about a two-state confederation then end up threatening us with partition.

Why do you even bother, Viewpoint?

Benefit of the doubt, a chance to redeem yourselves, a slim chance that you may accept us as equal partners that we really are.....your blanket reponses serve no purpose they only leave many questions unanswered exposing us to the very dangers we fear. Why are you so afraid or allergic of the word state? under a BBF?

and what is wrong with a constituent state within a State?

...is this what you mean when you say BBF, vp?

is it a Greek Constituency that's what's needed, so that the Republic can serve as the Representative of its Citizens as Individuals, as a body of people committed to Universal Principals that are without distinctions, and discrimination. wouldn't constituent states allow for the corporation of people so that they can sustain the distinct identity they have as Persons? in this regard your demand for an equality (and the security) of Persons, is it not met?

...is this what is meant by Bicommunal? and if there was one Sovereignty, even if the Green Line remains, many zones can exist, enclaves so that the displaced, at least some from '63 and '74 can return as they left, as communities, enclaves so that Maronites, Armenians, and Latins have the same rights as constituencies, and represent themselves as Constituencies as well. is this what is meant by Bizonal, rather than tearing the island in two?

And you seem to think that avoiding the real issues things will progress, well it dont work that way you have to take note of what the other side wants, you have to realize the old days are over where you tried to impose your will upon us by taking away our rights.
