Monsieur Eric. Excuse me but your comments on a Cyprus forum to mainly Cypriot contributors telling them to go away and read about the history of their own country is unbelievably patronising and stupid. There's no other way to describe it.

As for your account of working in the 'trnc', what did you really expect? You are no doubt aware that the 'trnc' is an occupied part of the Republic of Cyprus which is 'administered' by the Turkish army and the plunderers who maintain and profit from the ethnic cleansing of the north.

There’s a reason why the 'trnc' is unrecognised by the international community and why the enclave is accountable to no-one.

There’s a lesson from your sorry tale of working in the occupied areas of Cyprus, but it looks like you don’t have the moral sensitivity to draw the right conclusions.

I got sacked from GAU on June 5th, 2013 : the management wanted me to change my grades and comments, but I refused. They sacked me in order to write grades and comments in my name.
That means the grades and comments all Prep School students got for their second semester in French are fake. But parents do not know. Parents are cheated.
Is this reason not just enough to downgrade/debase GAU as an academic institution?
If you are still skeptical, here are my other arguments.

No-one here is skeptical, Monsieur Betand. We know all about the fake ‘state’ in the north with its fake 'politicians’, fake 'elections', fake 'government’, fake 'universities’ and their fake 'qualifications'. You don’t have to convince us.

The question is what on earth you thought you were doing going to 'teach' in the illegally occupied part of Cyprus in the first place? You are unprincipled enough to overlook the embargoes on the north and then naive enough to complain that an unrecognised institution in an illegal entity is acting dishonestly! You just don't emerge out of this with much credit.

But do keep up your campaign. It does have a purpose.

Most of us in here have LIVED through it all, some of us even since 1955. And I advise you to go through some of the threads under “CYPRUS PROBLEM” in this forum. You will find them very educating.

Concluding: You have entered our country illegally you were/are living and working illegally in an area of our country which is occupied illegally by a foreign force and which is run illegally by an illegal administration. You were offering your illegal services to a foreign educational institution which was established illegally and operates illegally in our country and you had been paid an illegal salary out of money which that institution was making illegally.

You are an OUTLAW.

Lets just try not be so proud of our own records when it comes to private schools in the RoC.
A disgrace of the highest level is one particular so called educatunal establishment in Limassol, where teachers are NOT paid, or rather paid with rubber cheques. Then in drips and drabs with promises and promises. It is a sickening disgrace to Cyprus's educational establishment, yet this so called school, which does not meet any criteria whatsoever is tolerated by our corrupt system.

How on earth can you have an educational establishment whose cheques for salaries keep bouncing, every one knows but no one gives a toss, I wonder if its because of WHO is behind this disgrace. A gangland member maybe, some crook that intimidates authorities ??

I know, but Im scared to say, and Miltiades is no chicken.

Banks, Courts, Police, in fact ALL so called governement departments.
Instead of kissing the rears of these senile Brits who rushed to "invest" in stolen properties, they are fleecing them right left and center. In fact .
Banks charging exorbitant interest rates, refusing to accept "judgements" given against them, yet these senile fools continue to....fight for justice, fat chance !!
