If it was up to the Cypriots we would have joined long ago but because of all the illegal people that our Mother Land have been bringing into the island that opportunity has passed.
I would just like to add that i have no problem at all with Turkish Cypriots, only with the puppet government controlled by Ankara.
Being that i am a Turkish Cypriot please can we for once admit that maybe it wasn't all the Greek Cypriots fault and maybe outside influences including Turkey and Greece had a hand in the partition of our great island.
I left the North 3 years ago as i could not take it up there anymore.
I now live in Larnaka with my family and have seen that there is a chance for peace,
Cyprus forever as one."

I have been reading that online paper for about 3 years now (don't comment anymore though) and can say that there are many anti-Cypriot, dubious hypocritical commenters there.
