The CY Minister of Energy, Mr Lakkotribis, has said that as part of the evaluation process, the gas from Aphrodite will be lit in a flaming flare in mid-September.

This flaring is all part of the evaluation process which will test flow rates.

... and we have an indication of the massive potential of the prospects at Aphrodite in that Noble are preparing to flare up to 60 Million cubic feet of gas a day during the tests...!!!
