I wonder if anyone could help me please? I signed a twelve month rental contract five years ago,the terms of the contract were met,and the contract expired.The property management company ceased to retain responsibility for the letting of the property so I suggested to my U.K based landlord that we deal with it together.
To date no new contract has been provided,in spite of many requests from me and promises from my landlord to provide one.Now my Landlord is pressuring me to deal with a property management company whom I know to be incompetent,and who do not provide value for money.
My questions are:
1.What is my position as Tenant in the absence of a contract?
2.Can my landlord force me to deal with this company?
Any helpful,positive and accurate information woulld be very much appreciated.
