Your beloved Ottomans spent 11 months to take Famagusta, a single flipping city, from the Venetians. Then, 350 years later, they went bust and signed the whole island off to the British. The British still claim parts of Cyprus as sovereign British territory, because Cyprus is 10 times more strategically important than most Turkish territories however big they are.

Noone should hate people because of their place of origin. Everyone hates Turk and loves Greek so much that, most of Europe is now removing Greek Mythology as a subject from their high school books.
