There's a good moment on the first documentary on the 15th minute whereit describes how the Athenians left the acropolis in ruins for 30 years as a monument to the barbarism that the invaders (the Persians) had inflicted on the city as a constant reminder. How the Athenians woke up every day and saw the acropolis to remind them of this. A little like how the Turks have painted PAC-MAN on pendadaktylos. A constant reminder on who the "enemy" is and what was ransacked and lost by the invaders.

Thank god for their stupidity, because knowing us, we would have stopped struggling for our lands a long time ago had it not been for the physcological reminder these idiots have lit up in our face.
