If it is the Hilton park Hotel; how far by taxi? many thank for all replies; glad to hear 'its a top notch place' ,

Too far by Cyprus standards. From Engomi to Stavrous its about a 30m drive.

Have a look at the place markers I've put on this map...

nothing like 30 minutes, closer to 15, particularly if one avoids the centre but goes past the institute for genetics and the university of Nicosia. I can get there in about 1hr 10 from Limassol sticking pretty well to 100 on the highway...

GR's place mark is nowhere near the American Medical Centre! For the Medical centre on the way to Nicosia you come of the highway at the IKEA/MALL roundabout and go left. It is about 3Km along the round on the left after the second traffic lights.
