A sprightly one, having a 31 yr old about....... :?

As for Greekisland girl.....one must never ask a lady her age, you are exempt from the question

You are a gent. I make no pretentions to be, as I can tell you The lady and I are probably close in age, say within three to five years at most, as if she recalls certain events then our memories seem to start within about that time span..she is probably just that much younger than me.

My earliest memories are of being in hospital to be circumcised, a holiday to Christchurch in Dorset, which we did by train as we had no car, and my sister being born. I was two at the time, not just a week old.

Of course it follows that whatever insults some apply, at least no one can correctly call me a complete prick!

It's one of only a few occasions that I have been referred to as a "lady" too. Must be a sign of my age. :D

Anyway, I've never been cryptic about my age; related a few memoirs - getting older is better than the alternative, after all.

Flying Horse, I was born in the last days of the British totalitarian hold on our country. My mother gave birth to me in a stable, :P which was used as a bomb shelter whilst the Brits enacted their scorched earth policy in realisation of their tenuous hold on the island. At the time, the Paphos forest was set on fire and the road to the hospital was unusable ...

- Apart from repetitive anecdotal evidence, you can date us older generation, Denizaksulu, Miltiades, Get Real!, etc by our mature, adult approach to problems and our unswerving political convictions [right or wrong]. In contrast to the shifting uncertain trial-and-error postings of the younger forumers like Cap. Then there are the ones who are in transition ....
