The Fire choppers are out in procession to a big plume of smoke on the east Side of Limassol.
The devastation of the sort near Choriokotia is terrible and I hope this new one is not as big.

Let us hope that it is got quickly under control and without any loss of life.

Every year we get too many wild fires caused mostly by Human stupidity, Some by deliberate act. It risks life and property, in particular the life of our firemen.

Firemen and the Army should always cooperate and be one service when fire starts. Whats the point of army personnel sitting and doing nothing when they can help to eliminate the fire.After all they get paid every month with huge public money. Enough of public money thrown to the dustbin.
