A little help please from PC-friendly users :)

Postby sephblades » Wed Jul 24, 2013 1:57 pm

Hello everyone.

My name is Kostas and i'm from Athens. I am an avid PC gamer and i found my self looking for the best parts to upgrade my PC every couple of years or so... The time has come but i'm in a bit of a struggle.

You see, back in Greece i knew where the best shops are etc... So i had no problems in buying what i need for my pc.

But now i am in Lemesos (Limassol) and although i am nearly in love with this city, i simply can't find good opportunities for PC parts (i.e. price oriented opportunities).

Can someone help me please. I would be in your debt :)

Thank you in advance!

P.S. 1: You can come by La Croiassanterie in Enaerios to have a chat if you like :)
P.S. 2: Sry for my bad english, it is not my native language.

as far as i know there's www.eshopcy.com.cy (I believe they have a store somewhere in limassol) and www.cyprus-pc.com although I recommend ordering your parts from other sites because they are cheaper and those sites do not have much stuff. I suggest you to order parts from other sites like amazon.com and newegg.com (not sure if they ship to cyprus).

Define "Sotos" please? :P

About e-shop... They can go !@#@#$$% and !@#@$@%^ after they #!@#!%@$@#$ their @#!@#$#.
What i mean is that every single item they have available for purchase is 20 euros more or less more expensive than those of greece's e-shop. So...yeah.. thnx but no thnx.

About Amazon. i tried getting for example a HAF mid tower and i got the "Amazon can't send at that address" and i read in terms of service that they don't ship in Cyprus...

Hey, just now got your PM. Yes, Amazon.com doesn't ship most items to Cyprus but you can order from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de .Prices are different and .de can have things that .co.uk doesn't and vice versa. Also with .de you pay in euro so you know exacly what you are paying for. When paying in British pounds you have to account for some visa fees. (There is also .fr, .it and .es but I haven't tried them) Shops in Cyprus are generally more expensive than those in Greece. If you want to buy something locally you can go to Ayias Fylaxeos street (the part under Makariou Avenue). There is ComputerLand, Bionic and a couple more computer stores... and you can also try Stephanis store. But if best price is what you are after then stick with online... unless an item is very heavy and shipping fees would be too high or if you have an emergency and time is critical!
