There can only be ONE National Assembly.
Would you mind terribly correcting this please... and then we'll move on.
indeed, there must be more than one National Assembly, as there must be at least three components (BBF) to be complete. consider a Republic of Cyprus that is Bicommunal. what meaning can it have unless it is one Government representing its Citizens, the dwellers of Cyprus, not as Greeks or Turks but as Cypriots (a matter of Identity, as Individuals). then...
what happens to Greekness, or Turkishness depends on this population having a means to sustain these National Identities, thus another level of Government, Cypriot Constituencies, must exist, and being Bizonal these distinctions can be described geographically as well. what is fact, is that the world's ethnosphere is shrinking at a faster rate than its ecosphere. the Maronites, Armenians, Latins, and yes, even the English, on this island require the same tools as the Greeks (service in their mother tongue, and in their daily lives), to survive; in this context, they are equal (in need). and as Cypriots, with Freedom, one Sovereign State, one Country, we should be able to provide this Liberty to ourselves. furthermore, i propose that if Sovereignty was taken out of the equation, it would not be difficult for them (the Constituencies) to determine their needs, and to proceed in unanimity to the Federal Government for their Charter, as Constituencies with their respective National Assemblies to provide the self-representation, as Persons, their electorates' are demanding, to be closer to their tax dollars, beyond Mobility, Expression, and Association.
it would be possible to see a return of communities to the north, and to the south, as it would be possible to think even further, and to start new communities.
