For English-speakers, the main points of RW's proposals are (one Country and a Federal Government) geographically a multi-zonal arrangement with two political administrations responsible for such things as regional level laws and policing under a strong central government.

Is this right RW...???

almost; at least two political administrations, (call them Constituencies) given that the Armenians, Maronites and Latins, have the same need as Persons to sustain a Living Heritance.

...and to be clear, Bizonal (yes, it is a geographic term) does not mean dividing the island in two. it means that as one entity, it has many parts; like Bicommunal.

...multi-zonal, i don't know what that could mean, but it is not as clear (i think).

Ok... Two Political Constituencies covering 17 zones for greek-speakers and a further 7 for turkish-speakers, total of 24.

Why 24 ... ??? Seems to be quite a lot.

(multi-zonal = 3,4 ,5...7, 15, 17, 24 etc)

rw there is a small loophole in your thinking as vp would say. what is there to stop gcs moving north in numbers and taking over the northern state. i assume you expect the ordinary tcs to vote for this.

let me help you. you can have anybody can reside anywhere they like and you can even have anybody cvan set up business anywhere they like. but i am afraid 95% of tcs will not vote for any setup that will allow the gcs to use their numbers and take over the whole island.

there is of course another solution and you can forget about zone, single zone and single government so long there are 800,000 tcs in cyprus, the numbers to be made up from terkey or any other tc who wishes to come back to homeland. and finally our patriotic friends will have one man one vote.

how about it

i don't know how many are warranted bill, or how many are advantageous to stimulate the kind of growth Cypriots want. i do know that the displaced have a need to see Justice done, and that would include for some of them to return as they left, as communities whether it is north or south of the Green Line. most importantly, there is no longer a "Turkish" side, or a "Greek" side, although there are zones, and National Assemblies that act for their electorate, there is above all one Sovereignty, as Cypriots.

@Lordo, what does it matter if someone is Greek or Russian, English, or Turk, if we are Cypriots. If you choose to live somewhere, it is because it suits your needs. as a Turcophone, or Grecophone, as a Taxpayer your interest will be to improve the services offered, and given that this intent is reciprocal, extremist views will be heard, but as a whole will not be acted upon. if it is as you suggest, masses from the south will move northward, so too masses south. and yes Lordo, the demographics of Cyprus will surely change, it is our Citizenship as Cypriots which secures the Liberty we seek as Greeks, and as Turks, but more importantly, as members of a bigger Family, we can represent ourselves as Humans, first.

You silly fascist. It's obvious your target is to Turkify the island, but just for the laughs, how do you propose we sustain a 50-50 balance in the future?
