and today, are you as a People, better off? in your shithole stpier, look south, despite the so called embargo, how is it they are so much better than you? can you say that it is Greece's doing? i ask myself, a country as great as Turkey, after thirty years (or fifty), what is the Legacy?
...there it is Famagusta, a whole city for the world to see, "Turkish" benevolence: i took it, if i can't use it no one uses it, it's mine.
If you want to get it back, you will give something in return. Come on you are the defeated ones!
...if you want to get back your dignity, you too have to give something, speaking as you do, you've given nothing to Cypriots, Greek or Turk, and nothing to Cyprus, although i think the Turkish Cypriot suffers the most in this, they stand as a result the most defeated.
...perhaps Turkey is afraid of the new Port that would open in Famagusta, a (European) Intermodal Transport Hub, security of/for these containers to the highest standard, ready for the twenty-first century. if the wealth from it is shared, Cyprus gets some, Europe if they build it gets the lion's share, and even if as a Constituency the north benefits, Turkey gets none; isn't that the real point you are trying to make?
