Like who? :?

Look, those of us who watch football regularly have an understanding of team expectations just as you may have in cricket or aussie rules.

Don't pretend you don't know!

Cypriot teams knocked out some pretty big teams over the last few years like Transonspor, Lyon et al

You know more than me as to which teams I am talking about.

Trabzon is not a big team but anyway just go away and die in some corner or something because you're clueless about these matters and I’m bored of you.

Ha!

Just admit you're full of shit because if there was match fixing then you better have evidence, and if you don't then you're a sore loser! Every malaka knows that Turkish Teams, and teams from France, Italy, Spain, UK et al are far superior and better sides than Cypriot Football teams yet Anorthosis and Apoel knocked a few for six fair and square, yet you don't see their opponents make any allegations of match fixing.

Man, you're so Gay!

At last! The King's Greek! A language I know and understand! :D

I hope you realize that if these allegations are true, the recipient is just as guilty as the bribing team. Both teams could face a 2 year suspension.

It’s not like you imagine it, I doubt the Swedish team is involved.

It's most likely between an Asian punter and the Anorthosis management which have a history of corruption or they were in collaboration with the manager’s brother’s betting shop.

Well, the hard thing about things like this is proving it.

If it is true, I hope the Football Authorities uncover it, because this type of corruption will destroy the sport in Cyprus.

Under normal circumstances Maribor should not be a problem for APOEL but these are NOT normal circumstances they are facing in Cyprus where the government has pinched the money from bank accounts and the economy has come to a halt.

As a result of the crisis, players are unpaid, teams unmotivated, outlook is depressing and this has given rise to crime, match fixing, and chaos.

I fear the worst for APOEL too... :(

 we've changed half the team this summer, got rid of the most successful coach Cyprus has ever seen and are faced with a massive hole in our finances if we don't progress. If da ball no go in net...we put it there ourselves. :eyecrazy:
