Idiots in the occupied areas

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Idiots in the occupied areas

Postby DT. » Thu Jul 18, 2013 11:27 am

After tonnes of oil had already been spilled on the coast fo Karpasia by a Turkish tanker the occupation regime decided to ask for help from the Republic of Cyprus. Turkey shortly intervened and cancelled the request stating that help from Turkey was on its way sooner than expected. Help from Turkey apparently didn't show up and a new request was sent to the government of Cyprus by the occupation regime. By this time the damage was done. The government of course accepted both times the request without second thought and there are now crews from Limassol doing the clean up.

I suppose its the same as refusing a helicopter to put out forest fires. They'd rather wait for one to fly in from Turkey :?

More idiots! Reported on Cyprus PIO:

Turkish Cypriot daily Halkin Sesi newspaper (19.07.13) reports that the pollution, which has been caused by many tons of oil leaked in the sea of occupied Gastria village during the unloading of a ship at AKSA Energy company's electric power station in the area, reached the coasts of occupied Vokolida village.

Noting that fears came true, Halkin Sesi writes that in an effort to clean up the beaches, some hotels in the area tried to take a digger and bury the sand that contained oil, but "officials caught them".

Yes... This stuff isn't crude oil. It's a lighter distilled fuel oil.

It's described as Category 6... which is the dirtiest, cheapest fuel. The leftover from the reffinery process. Full of heavy metals...

... and if we look at some pickies of the disaster, we'll see it's seeped in to the beach sand.

Proper course of action to make safe is to remove and treat '000s of tons of sand...

... but who can imagine the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" going to that trouble...???
