"Cypriots will not be pushed around, and the weaker they feel, the less inclined they'll want to be pushed around," said Downer. "So, it will be a major mistake for the international community to conclude that now's the time to put pressure on them."

Yes... unusually sensible... perhaps we can now live in hope that he'll now have the courage as well as sense to go and tell Eroglu of "trnc" to get well away from the CONFEDERAL aims.

What kind of botched nation do they think they are going to create in Cyprus by putting pressure on the GC's? A Turkish minority run satellite state for Turkey? The GC's are under Turkish occupation FFS.

The pressure should be put on the Turks to withdraw. these sh*t talks are a complete farce, a fundamentally flawed joke.

Shit. I don't like this. He realised how we react. This is bad. They will start pooring money in and start "hugging" us!

What are you getting so worked up about, Lordo? Sounds like you’re about to have some kind of nervous collapse.

Why don’t you go and have a lie down?

Now we all know why the events in Cyprus took us towards division...you can not talk any sense into these people, let alone share and run a country.

Why would we want to run and share a country with you? Turkey thinks you are contemptible parasites and treats you like children. While G/Cs think you are nothing but slaves of Turkey and so have nothing but contempt for you.

You are asking to be treated as 'equals' when all you do is demonstrate a slavish devotion to Turkey that makes both Turks and G/Cs despise you.

Unless you find a way to assert yourselves you are destined to irrelevance and no-one will take you seriously. Sorry but that's the way it is.
