Both are downtrodden humanity. Pure prejudice heaped on Blacks and Greeks. On the former because occidentals fear they are still no better than "savages" themselves; and on the latter because they fear they will never rise to be as great as "being" Greek dictates.

I don't think humankind wants to say they are Greek when they can say they are American, Australian, Canadian or Chinese or whatever else.

You got to understand that all these countries don't even take Greece seriously. I mean why would they? What have they achieved?

Greece is classed with many other non achievers whilst these other countries are sending rockets into space.

Yet that warped thinking you mention is prevalent in Greek Society more so than anywhere else in the modern world.

Perhaps, the way things are, it is better to act less Greek and more European, because Greece can't even be classed as a European country either. In Europe you have Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, et al all of which have achieved more.

Greece needs to catch up before it is left for dead!

The only alternative to a nightdress I like is no nightdress at all.

but most times in the Spring time, and most times in the fall,
She slips between those Lilly-white sheets with nothing on at all!
