Most of the money in Cyprus was legitimate businesses who took advantage of a low tax regime. This money was then invested into risky bonds which is where the problems started. I'm sure some money in the system was 'dodgy' but Cyprus is hardly unique in that respect. The issue was greatly exaggerated and you hear nothing about it now.
As for stolen recognition rights of the TCs, if you do not recognize the TRNC then give us our rights under the 1960 constitiution with no changes, declare this to the world, make it clear that our rights are there waiting for us to take our place and that you will not try to change the constitution which your yourselves tried to do away with in 1963. Give back our stolen rights which you have unilaterally milked for the last 50 years.
Do you really think Turkey will allow you a unitary state based on the 1960 constitution? Why haven’t the TC ‘leadership’ proposed this in the past? Send the GCs and the UN a letter that you want a unitary state not a BBF then I'm sure we will consider it. But I doubt such a letter will come.
