Then the laws/rules governing the issue of Republic of Cyprus ID Cards and nationality must have changed VERY recently as our renewed ID Cards show dual nationality.

Mine = ID British/Cypriot = UK born, issue of British parents and Cypriot by Naturalisation.
Spouse = ID Cypriot/British = Cyprus born, issue of Cypriot parents and British (once again) by Naturalisation.

Children = ID British/Cypriot = UK born, issue of, by then of British parents and Cypriot by Naturalisation.
GIG is correct in her advice to visit a very large town, regional understanding sometimes differs from that of the centre resulting in local management decisions being implemented. Whenever possible, I would suggest Nicosia for any dealings with officialdom as that which was not possible elsewhere seems to be possible when dealing with a government employee/contractor? who fully understands the issue and systems involved.
