Cypressa is a brand distributed by Katsouris Bros who have roots in Komi Kebir, my cousin Tony used to run the business. I attended a KK reunion last October in Larnaca with my UK based cousins, there must have been 200 people there.
The village itself is a sad place these days, it looks pretty run down and not how I remember it back in the 60s but the occupiers hold some sort of festival there each year. The churches are wrecked and in a bad state of repair, the cemetry has been smashed up and the school turned into an hotel. I read somewhere that carpetbaggers often attend the "festival", I wonder what they think when they see the malicious destruction of Christian heritage by their friends in the north.

Very sad Jerry. The north ain't Cyprus anymore. I do not recognise it at all; nor its new people.
