i see erdogan is planning to take the whole of cyprus.

The way I see it is that he is getting scared shitless of how things are developing around him and he is trying to safeguard what he has (meaning YOU).

Imagine: All that military force so that "mighty" Turkey defends itself against the ....."half country" Cyprus!!!

i see erdogan is planning to take the whole of cyprus. you boys are fast asleep. dont worry though xredjehalo has his alarm set so he will wake you up. not that you will need his alarm to wake you up terkish tanks and planes will do that for no wextra cost. but like i said they will leave south lefkosa alone on account that gondobotsui lives there.

Don't be daft! The troops are there to keep the Turkish Cypriots under control. Erdogan is probably worried TCs might actually grow a backbone and demand an end to the occupation. I don't know what gives him that idea.

...well said.

it just goes to show how little you boys understand about trnc politics. soldiers have not been involved in a single incident against the tcs.

as to the backbones being developed by the tcs, let us know when you boys begin to develop it and we'll show you what a back bone is if you had not seen it in the 60s, judging buy your posts of course you have not.

43000 troops to keep 80000 Turkish Cypriots in their place! Erdogan must be really paranoid if he think the TCs are suddenly going to start demanding their rights. :o

Maybe he knows something that we don't? Maybe it is not the TCs alone that scare him??

P.S. TCs living in Cyprus are less than 80,000 I think. Most of them have been chased abroad by the Anatolians long time ago.

How little you know, that the police force in the north are directly controlled by the Turkish military. The so called police just wear different colour uniforms than the military ones, that's all. Under the uniform, you ONLY find the Turkish Military where there has been many incidents where the police/military in the north has cracked many TCs skulls and broken many bones.

ooooh excellent... perhaps they'll do something useful, like clearing up all the rubbish that's dumped everywhere in "trnc".
