YKP and BKP failing to get their voice heard internationally

Postby tsukoui » Sun Jun 30, 2013 10:48 am

I am hesitant to post this on this forum which is so full of nationalists, but let's see.

The fact is that the majority of indigenous Turkish Cypriots are as upset with the occupation as Greek Cypriots.

Yet they are failing to get their voice heard in the international media which continues to portray the conflict as between Greeks and Turks.

Are we colluding in this travesty?

Nonesense, the TCs welcome the occupation regime, we have proof, VP who claims to represent the ave tc. Lordo, bigoz, pauul12, zan, et al to name but a few.

Please dont give them any more ammo, otherwise you will be on the recieving end of it.

I'm not trying to give these stooges any more ammo, far from it, I'm trying to show them up for what they are.

The YKP has boycotted the so called "elections" in the north since it was established on the grounds that the settlers bias the process and thus make it an undemocratic charade. If you add the abstention rate to the votes for the BKP and then factor in the percentage of settlers you get a clear majority of indigenous Turkish Cypriots against the occupation.

Anyway, that's what I heard, but I doubt I will convince you.

I agree with STUD, tsukoui. The so called Cypriot nationalists (e.g., GR!, Paphitis) are nothing but dozy charlies.
