No one is "pursuing" Greekness as their identity, if Greek, is how they were born and raised. You have to accept being Greek is what we (the native majority of Cyprus) are; and happen to be, and love.
You are confusing your own "pursuing" of some manufactured entity and this has left you confused, unsatisfied, and prone to attack others who are stable and ' know themselves'.
I wish you luck in finding your own identity, so that you, too, can move on. But you won't find it by knocking us who have the stability and assurance of a connected history which is congruent with our present culture, language and other-worldly-pursuits.
