Pimpernuckle

Looks like you will have to stay in after school for being a 'English colonialist type of prat'.

Now what's everybody else's excuse!

This forum is just a talking shop, if g/cypriots feel that the occupation is wrong then they should complain to there government about the lack of movement on a settlement and also contact the greedy estate agents who are selling off stolen greek land and making things worse for a settlement.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Any developer, based in R.O.C found to be building on or selling land in the occupied territories should be tried ; then if convicted serve a jail sentence. I personally would wish on them a lot more, but this is not Turkey.
As for those vermin that visit the North for its obvious attractions; I did read that a high number of these poor women were HIV positive. There would be some justice if the disease was passed on to this filth.

HI MICHAEL, We should complain and bombard the websites of those greedy estate agents who are selling are land that is stolen from us.
Also join up and disrupt those travel websites that promote travel to the occupied areas.
What do you think ?

Mr BigFatLondonBoy, please explain why it is “bitter” to demand ones land?
Do you enjoy being the victim?

its not bitter michael but unless you can get more people other you and lysi to fight for your cause i'm afraid all is lost....it's going to take a massive effort to reclaim any land that was lost.and while we,re on the subject what if any solutions are the cypriot government coming up with..

sorry to upset you michael i just like winding lysi up...slap on the wrist accepted..

I think the Cyprus government under the present unfavourable circumstances is doing the best it can. It is not only the Turks that they have to fight but also a rearguard from the British and the Americans. What ever they do will never be good enough for the British and Americans, as their military interest lies with Turks and not with us. I think the veto is a bit of a false hope as irrespective of our veto, the EU is never going to let the Turks through the door. If the Austrians don’t veto them, then the French, Germans, Dutch et al will. I am more comfortable with the present situation of making lives for the Turks as uncomfortable as possible. This should be extended to the British. Why do we allow British military personnel to drive from Base A to B.? At least stop all contact with the Bases. I think there contribution to the economy is overrated.
I know that we are crushed between the interest of unfriendly powers but at least not compound our plight. Greeks that travel to the North and spend their money there are nothing short of treacherous.
