And your impertinence never fails to amaze me. I have asked this question before? Why are you meddling in this debate? If you don’t have the good grace to fly your own flag then don’t pop up here and tell us which flag we should be waving.

I know it’s all very difficult to for you to understand, a flag is not a fashion statement. It is not something to be adopted lightly. There is nothing worse in draping the flag for camouflage. I think people can see through disguise. Those Arabs in Europe come to mind, wearing Italian football shirts hoping that it makes them someone else.

knowing our luck, he's currently sat in a a curry stinking hostel off Brighton Pier, smoking Mayfair and scratching his cobblers while the wind rattles through the single pane glass.

The computer monitor, and the VD he caught off the local rent boy, are the only things lending illumination to the otherwise freezing, dank, miserable bedroom within which he seeks solace while he looks for work.

Every day is the same. Up at 11, down to Mrs Millies Cafe (the one with the big rainbow flag), and an order for a full english and the kentish times placed with the surly looking slick haired man behind the counter.

Straight to the jobs section.....and an hour later, the only job he can find is one that puts his knees on the gravelly surface of the alley outside, complimenting him with five pounds and a sticky mouth.

They do make an effort Londonboy, give'em that!
