Mobile phone reverse lookup

Postby Fizzl » Sun Jun 23, 2013 10:46 am

Hi, all.

I have a bit of an issue. I have a person in Cyprus, who has bought some work from me. The work is already done, but he is refusing to pay.

I have his cell number, which starts with +357 995, which seems to be a mobile number in Cyprus. Is there a service which I could call from abroad and query personal details of a number owner?

If it is a pre-paid, do Cyprus companies collect personal information of pre-paid SIM cards, or are they completely anonymous?

All I can tell you is that 99 is how all standard mobile phones under CYTA (the main telephony subscriber) begin so it’s not a prepaid card of any kind, but I don’t know of any service to trace mobile phones.

You could try this, but it only works if the user has allowed it, and if CYTA have managed to fix their new yellow pages site which is under test, and to be quite honest, even crappier than the one it replaced!

even the CYTA pre-paids were a part of the 99 sequence, and yes they are (or at least were) anonymous.
