If you mean the old model, it's crap, the new model which is a Japan-only version of the European Mazda 2, which is based on the Ford Fiesta that is a good car. The new Demio though has the old 1.3 engine which is lifeless... know from experience since my mom has one.

The new one, is good as a car, though I have its design ...unadventurous, dull. The engine is the same in the old and new version. For about the same money I would go for the Fiat Panda which is the perfect city car. A Yaris is just ... a Toyota, with no spirit... Mitsubishi Colt is cheap looking inside, Nissan March is an old car, Opel Corsa has a lifeless steering, get a Renault Clio/ Pegeuot 107, Citroen C1/C2/C3

Yeap, the early 206s had quite a few problems, but nowadays they are mostly sorted out. The 307 is a nice car as well, my sister and a friend of mine have the 1.6 model and it is a very pretty and comfortable one, as well as safe. The first edition of 307 had a few s/w glitches affecting the steering wheel control system, called com2000 which consists of the wipers, lights, indicatiors stalks. Eventually these s/w problems have been rectified/solved with the facelifted model.... Any more info required??? The 107 is cooperation product between Pegeuot, Citroen (model C1), and Toyota (model Aygo). They share floor base, engines, gearboxes etc. It's a matter which style you prefer, though after seen some pictures the C1 is the coolest of all.

dms, I went out with family and some friends. I had a good time. New Years Eve is too important to risk it with a blind date don't you think?
