I don't have much truck with Christianity either. I am definitely a heretic when it comes to how god is portrayed along with Jesus etc., if indeed there is a god. Christianity has been as guilty of the murder of innocents as eg Islam.

Anyway look at the early history of Islam and how it spread by violence and the current manifestations where Sunnis and Shiites are killing a lot more fellow Moslems than eg the US. Yes "the west" has killed Molems but not millions in deliberate mass murder and in places like Serbia the murders were more about politics than faith, as it so often is. That underlies the Sunni shiite split. Control.

Anyone who commits an act of violence in the name of a god is definitely worshipping a false god.

Indeed most organised Religions are simply a method of mind control, in particular when it interacts with politics and the alleged links to deities of leaders, who claim descent from the gods, as was the case in eg Japan, or if one looks at Greek Myths, or who claim divine rights of some sort as a spokesman for A god, eg the pope, the ayatollahs, some monarchies, etc.

STUD I am actually pleased you believe this is an Islamic text. It is supposed to be as universal as possible. However you are complicating matters for me. I am addressing Cypriots, and you as a "White" man are interfering. Distinguishing between peoples is not racism. This is what you are failing to grasp. You are trying to hold on to your "White" identity. Your privileges. You want everyone to take responsibility for racism rather than admitting that it is the responsibility of "Whites" and then trying to move away from being "White". In doing so you are trying to spread the disease by hoping Cypriots will identify with you. Unfortunately many Cypriots are unconsciously falling for this trap. They are not "White" but they are adopting "White" sickness as "Whites" try to spread their disease in the hope that through dispersion it will go away. On a deeper level I am pleased with your response as it gives me more thought to consider how "Whites" can move away from being "White", not just in their own minds but in the minds of others. Ultimately we are all one. You are a part of me. So in that sense a part of me is "White" just as a part of me is "Black". Thus the challenge of moving away from "Whiteness" is my challenge as well as it is for all people regardless of their background. Only when you see "Whiteness" as a sickness of the ego will you be free. The problem I face is that I and many other "non-Whites" still see you as "White", ask yourself how you can not be?

Doesnt it strike you, amazing, that when people of all different races are placed together, as equals, the tendency is to mix ...rather then stay with your own kind..Its as if we are predesposed to it.
