No dufus! I want Cyprus to engage the G20 countries, which include the US in order to get a satisfactory solution to the Cyprus Problem and also become a PfP and NATO member so that its security is guaranteed.

You and your Ottoman mindset is unseen anywhere else which puts you behind the eight ball and always chasing your tail.

Only you talk of arse licking! You must have some fascination with arse but you are Greek after all. The rest of the world moves on and enemies only a few years ago have great relations today but to you that is arse licking.

You better get out of the Dark Ages mate and grow up. No bloody wonder you baboons are so f#%ked up!

...our hypocrisy is to stand by a Native Flag without conviction, because the Flags that fly higher are of others.

being "Greek" like being "Turkish" is anathema to the ideals these two People represent. Modern Greece like Modern Turkey represent an attempt to move the lines between the sense of Nation beyond mono-clonal identities, to the condition where a State exists that identifies its Citizens as Individuals. but, the elite has become a dictatorship by dividing the debate in a manner where disciminating against the "others" becomes acceptable to their mass, like in Turkey today, an attempt to qualify "Turkishness" in a manner which excludes half the Turkish population, by this definition not "Turkish" enough. it is a shame that in Cyprus that a Greek Constituency does not exist, for the same reasons.

...indeed, i remember Solomou, and i ask myself, must someone die for a Cypriot Flag?

I am not blaming the victims at all.

These things are obviously beyond your comprehension. Cyprus is under occupation, and it needs a lot of help to liberate itself. That help can only come from the powers you hate and continually blame by crying like the victim, while Greece is faultless according to you. A mindset change is necessary and Cyprus needs to engage US, and the EU in ways which will make them act in our favour.

You need to grow up. Greece has a great deal to account for before you even start spurting endless shit against other countries, including the US or the UK.

Then you can tell me how Cyprus can convince Greece to do something.

Better still, the US has the keys! how do you expect to get them on side and why isn't Cyprus trying to do this?

I am blaming the ones who a responsible. Just the truth... nothing more nothing less. You are asking from us to kiss the ass of those who have major responsibility for

the problems in Cyprus. You need to grow up and understand that kissing asses will not take you anywhere ... you will just make a fool of yourself and gain NOTHING.

Most of the EOKA B supporters, renounced their allegiance to that terrorist group after the war in 74...As for the USA and the UK...we should have realized from the beginning of the ROC that there was a bigger game being played and that was the cold war...Nevertheless, when a recent president of Cyprus visits the USA and then Cuba for a celebration of Che Guevera, it pissed off Cuban Americans and their representatives in the American congress, some of who are supporters of Cyprus. The same president goes to Russia visits with Putin, and begins to reminisce about the old Soviet Union and that Cyprus under his watch would never join Nato....again the same old politics as before....Nothing will be done to Cyprus this time because they did it to Cyprus in 74...

Ass licking is your favorite sport. Not only that but you talk a lot of crap without any substance. How exactly do we "engage the G20 countries" to get a satisfactory solution? And how exactly do we become PfP and NATO member when Turkey has a veto?

And what is your great achievement mate? You are a second generation immigrant. You are not "native Australian" and you can't even take credit for the "good job" of stealing Australia from the natives!

Agree with Paphitis.
It took me a very long time to see the light. Many, many years.

Born and raised abroad, I defended the Greek concept with a passion, because that's what we were taught to believe.
All the time, the doubts kept playing on my common sense and logic.
Once you collect enough evidence and knowledge to determine without a shadow of a doubt that it's not solely
the work of external forces but mainly that of 'internal' deceptive ones that are deep rooted in betrayal and foul play.

You realize that there is something seriously, seriously wrong with this 'brotherhood'. To a massive degree.
Too an extent that you can't just simply ignore it.

Please come back and comment when you are truly Cypriot.

Like the down-under Paph, you are full of going-with-the-wind, fly-by-night, please-all-outsiders nonsense.

Sotos has made some pertinent points but you are too foreign and/or stupid to understand.

How can you be Greek when you were born and raised abroad and Greek is not even your first language?! It makes perfect sense that you are not. But most Cypriots were born and raised in Cyprus so we are not like you. I hope you and Paphitis don't need many years to understand this! It makes as much sense to try to "teach" you that you are Greek as it makes to try to "teach" us that we are not! ... and anyway... how is what you say related with our discussion here ;)

There you go again. You talk about arse licking and you tell me to grow up!

Sotos, don't blame me that you lived all your life on a small island and haven't experienced the real world yet resulting in this insulated inward yet daft view of the world. One day you may awaken from your Ottoman ways!

I wish the Brits did not hand baboons like you independence in 1960 only to stuff things right up!

As for Australia, it has many great achievements. No one stole anything and the continent is being put to good use for the benefit of humanity and world.

As to the how to become a member of the PfP, why don't you ask the RoC President? He seems to be working on a plan, or maybe he is trying to do what I have been saying and engage the superpower USA. If the USA wants you there, and I don't see how it would not want you to be a member of PfP or NATO, then they will come up with something such as a solution to the Cyprus Problem and the RoC's induction into NATO and replace the stupid Treaty of Guarantee. Only they can make such things possible.

And yes, those that don't have ottoman Tunnel Vision know it is possible! :)

Sotos has made no point at all but seems infatuated with arse licking! maybe that has turned you on!

I can understand his insular view but you have lived and experienced the real world for a number of years. I don't know exactly how I shall explain that one!

It is not about pleasing anyone or fly by night Ottoman diplomacy which Greece and Cyprus seem to be quite good at. It is about engaging the world and trying to achieve an outcome that will benefit the RoC.

BTW, I don't live down under anymore. I live in Communist China. I live in the HK area which isn't exactly communist but it belongs to China.

China is a really big country really doing very well for themselves. They have great trade and diplomatic relations with US and Australia. At the moment they are trying to please most people. Why shouldn't they? Growing at break neck speed and making lots of money and the US and Australia are also making a lot of money from China and whilst everyone makes money, everyone is quite dumb and happy! :D

So now we have to ask the RoC President? I thought you were going to tell us how to do things because you knew better  Paphitis, you are a clueless idiot. I lived abroad for several years and there is nothing more "real" about the world elsewhere... the same principles apply everywhere. The problems in Cyprus are not due to our ways but due to the fact that Cyprus is a small island in a strategic location. The easiest thing to do is what you did: run away... and then come to a forum and talk crap
