applications to ipc

the latest figures of applications to ipc is 5000. only another 155 000 left.

What makes you think these people are trying to get money for all of their properties in the north. Of the 5000 that may have applied, perhaps they only want to sell small portion of their properties in the north, which means there are still 160,000 left.
In any case, by the GCs selling their private properties in the north does not mean they are selling their country to Turkey. Even if all the GCs properties were to be sold in the north by the GCs, the RoC would still have 100% sovereignty rights over the whole island.
